Automobile Claims Analysis and Reporting
A North American automobile client needed an application that would improve their manual service repair process as well as claims analysis and transparency between the manufacturer, customers and dealers.
Rulesware set out to deliver a repair and claims application that used a Pega-based rules engine to correctly identify and process warranty claim requests and the corresponding repairs.
Using Pega, Rulesware automated the pre-approval processs to streamline and reduce the number of warranty claim requests that did not meet the appropriate claim criteria, resulting in significant annual savings in warranty claims for the client. The warranty rules engine evaluates an incoming repair order/request against the client’s business rules and identifies different scenarios and actions to be taken by the dealer and our client.
Service repair technicians and claims processors are continuously able to improve transparency during both repair and claims processing to improve customer satisfaction and dealer collaboration.
