Celebrating Women at Rulesware

superwoman2

Technology is booming—and career opportunities for talented technology professionals are booming, too. Workplaces that were once dominated by male employees are slowly becoming more diverse, but we know all too well that we have a long way to go to achieve gender and overall equality in the workplace for the betterment of the tech industry.

As we work toward equality, we at Rulesware want to celebrate the women who contribute so much to our company. Female leaders like these, profiled below, have been a huge reason for our success, and we are absolutely convinced that continuing to hire and support talented women is vital to the ongoing success of our teams, our company, our clients, and to the technology industry overall. We also hope that it will help encourage more amazing women to join the tech industry, and to change the world.

And — we’re hiring! We encourage amazing women (you know who you are) to get in touch. Please see our opportunities in Mexico here.

And find four more profiles of amazing Rulesware women here.

Gabriela,
Development Practice Lead

What I love most about Rulesware is that we really feel like a family: we look out for each other, care for one another and are happy and proud when one (or more) of us achieves success. I’ve always felt that there are no limits to what you can do here: if you want to improve, for example, there is always someone who is willing to lend a hand. If, after being on a project, you are interested in another area of work (like development, QA, business analysis, delivery), you can ask what is required to move into that area, and Rulesware will try to make it happen. If you have a suggestion, someone will always listen and collaborate. Our culture is all about working with each other, and not ordering or bossing anyone. As an organization, I believe that we do love it when things are done the right way—but even more than that, we love teaching people how to do it the right way.

Ivania Rivas Rulesware

Ivania,
Development Practice Lead

I didn’t have any experience when I joined Rulesware; I had just obtained my university degree and was really eager to learn and grow professionally. At Rulesware I have received the same opportunities that everyone in the company has—I’ve been able to become a team leader, and then a Practice Lead. I feel proud that other women at the company have been able to achieve their goals too. Rulesware has opportunities for everyone who wants to take them, and is always aiming to have great women joining teams. At Rulesware I have been able to grow my communication skills, my technical skills, my soft skills, and my leadership skills. I have received great guidelines from my Scrum Masters and Project Leads, too. They have all been very supportive and helpful to make sure I reach my goals and become a better professional.

Johanna,
QA Practice Lead

For me, diversity and inclusion, and a genuine belief in people and their capabilities, are fundamental qualities in a workplace. I found this in Rulesware. This is a company that offers a great place to work, and that offers responsibility, life balance, a growing career, a culture of family, and educational support. Rulesware has it all.

Dalia,
Engineer

What I like the most about working at Rulesware is that your voice is heard and your ideas matter. There are so many opportunities to lead and to genuinely make a difference.
